NAPA, Calif. — The University of Colorado women's golf team is tied for ninth place after the first round of the 2022 Chevron Silverado Showdown, shooting a 14-over par 302 on the 6,192-yard Silverado Resort and Spa North Course on Monday.
The co-host Buffaloes, tied with No. 6 ranked Arizona State, sit just five strokes out of the Top 5 as all but two teams finished the first round over par. No. 5 San Jose State has the lead after 18 holes with a 1-under 287. No. 2 Oregon is right behind the Spartans with an even round of 288.
