LAS VEGAS – Colorado tennis kicks off the 2019 Intercollegiate Mountain Regional Championships with a clean sweep of five singles wins and a doubles win to advance everyone to the next round.
Freshmen Antonia Balzert and Maria Campos started things off in strong fashion, sweeping the duo of Sachica and Daniels from UTEP by a score of 8-0. Nayar and Malinen earned the No.1 seed for the women's doubles tournament and were the only team to earn a bye in the first round, giving CU two teams in the round of 32 tomorrow.
