Colorado recruiting ‘not completely hopeless’ despite Charles Lester III miss

Colorado football is “not completely hopeless” when it comes to its 2024 recruiting situation despite its mere eight commitments and swing-and-miss on 5-star Venice cornerback Charles Lester III according to Buffaloes Wire’s Jack Carlough.

“I wouldn’t consider Colorado to be completely hopeless with the early signing period still months away,” Carlough prefaced before saying, “Alabama and Georgia were also in the picture at the time of (Lester’s) commitment, albeit less so.”

CU still has the chance to flip Lester up until the point he signs his letter of intent with Florida State. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time Deion Sanders will have stolen a highly-touted defensive back from the Seminoles…
