BOULDER – The 1-0 Colorado Buffaloes will look to continue its quick start to the season, welcoming in Jackson State on Saturday (2 p.m. MT).
The Buffs sprinted out of the gate with a 30-point win over New Mexico State to open the season on Monday. Senior Quay Miller helped lead the charge with 22 points and 17 rebounds. CU shot 57.4% from the field and 50.0% from 3-point range against the Aggies. The Buffs' bench combined for 27 points on the night.
One of the few lowlights of the opener was the team's 20 turnovers, a number that will have to shrink as the season grows older.
