MESA, Ariz. – The Colorado women's golf team is currently ninth after shooting a 298 on the first day of the Clover Cup Friday.
Arizona has the early day one lead after recording a 7-under 281 at the 6,184-yard, par 72 Longbow Golf Club, while UNLV is close behind in second at 283. Houston (286) is currently third and Arizona State shot even (288) to come in fourth on the first day.
Seven of the 12 teams are separated by just six strokes. Grand Canyon is fifth (295) but only leads 11th-place TCU by six shots.
