Colorado In Eighth After Round 1 Of Pac-12 Championship

STANFORD, Calif. – The Colorado women's golf team is in eighth place at the Pac-12 Championship after carding a 302 in the first round on Friday.

Southern California, which is ranked 10th by Golfstat, leads the field after carding a 1-under 283 in the first round. The Trojans tied Stanford (ranked 26th by Golfstat) with 15 birdies in the round and also made 53 pars. The Cardinal, who are hosting the tournament at their 6,269-yard, par 71 Stanford Golf Course, is second with a 289. Arizona State (seventh), Arizona (22nd) and UCLA (27th) are all tied for third after finishing with a 291.
