Colorado football job isn’t a “coach-killer” anymore. But how good of a gig is it?

Oregon? Track stars leaving neon green streaks in the sky. Utah? Grinders and pluggers on both sides of the line. Stanford sells itself as Wisconsin West, a template built around power, smarts, and air-tight fundamentals; Washington State is Texas Tech North.

Colorado? Oh, doctor.

Speed? Strength? Passing? Toughness? The option? A framed picture of a bison with snow on its nose? Dysfunction?

“I’m not sure what the ‘brand’ is for Colorado,” ESPN college football analyst Rod Gilmore said with a chuckle. “Other programs, you can identify (that). And I’m not sure Colorado has found their brand yet.
