BOISE, Idaho – The University of Colorado women's tennis team picked up a pair of singles wins from freshman Ky Ecton to close out the Barb Chandler Classic in Boise, Idaho, this weekend.
Ecton advanced to the semifinals in the women's 'B' bracket where she fell to Rylee Braeden of Eastern Washington 6-2, 7-6(4). Braeden went on to win the bracket in the championship in straight sets.
With everyone out of championship contention Sunday, the Buffs picked up an extra singles match each and a doubles match for Brigitte Beck and Annabelle Andrinopoulos.
