HUMBLE, Texas – The University of Colorado women's golf team shot a 297 in the final round of the ICON Invitational Tuesday at the par 72, 6,247-yard Golf Club of Houston and finished 14th overall.
The Buffaloes carded an 893 (296-300-297), finishing five strokes behind North Texas (888). Texas State placed 15th overall (911).
"Ball striking seems to be getting better overall for the team," head coach Anne Kelly said. "We are struggling with wedges and putting, but we will keep working and are determined to improve our performances.
