Lampron Records Career-High 18 Tackles As Buffs Are Defeated
The loss dropped the Buffaloes to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in Big 12 play, while ASU improved to 5-4 and 3-3 in conference.
Colorado was held scoreless in the first half after four punts and two failed fourth-down attempts. CU's biggest offensive play of the half, an apparent 74-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Isaac Wilson to wide receiver Ernest Campbell, was wiped away by an ineligible receiver downfield.
The Buffs' defense forced three three-and-outs but surrendered touchdowns on two of Arizona State's four second-quarter possessions.
