SAN DIEGO, and SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – After day three of Battle in the Bay and UTSA Intercollegiate Championships the Buffs have continued to improve, winning three matches between the two tournaments.
The morning started how day two was supposed to before the cancellation due to rain with doubles matches from Pia Rebec and Elys Ventura, and Carri Hayes and Betina Tokac. Rebec and Ventura battled but ultimately came up short against Safiya Carrington and Kristina Novak from Oklahoma State 6-4. Hayes and Tokac met a similar end losing 6-3 to Andjela Skrobonja and Zoe Olmos from San Diego State.
