Colorado Buffaloes to host 2018 NCAA Skiing Championships in Steamboat Springs

The NCAA Skiing Championships are returning to Steamboat Springs in 2018.

The event, hosted by the Colorado Buffaloes, will return to Steamboat for the eighth time on March 7-10, 2018, the NCAA announced Monday. The Nordic and the slalom races will be held at Howelsen Hill, while the giant slalom will take place on Mount Werner.

“We are excited to put together another great championship,” CU head coach Richard Rokos said in a news release. “Steamboat Springs has such a great history with the NCAA Championships and other elite level skiing. We will look to improve upon the quality championships we put together over the years and as recent as just two seasons ago.
