Colorado Buffaloes’ Sepp Kuss wins Stage 15 of Tour de France

Today is a great day for our Colorado Buffaloes abroad, as cyclist Sepp Kuss has just won Stage 15 of the Tour de France.

Kuss, originally from Durango, is the first American to win any stage of the Tour de France since 2011. He won the race from Ceret o Andorra, a 191.3 km trek through arduous mountain roads. His background cycling in Colorado clearly paid off as he tirelessly climbed for 5 hour and 12 minutes.

During his time at Colorado, Kuss was a multi-time mountain bike racing champion, as well as a road cyclin champion in the Collegiate MTB competition.
