Clayton Named Pac-12 Offensive Player Of The Week

SAN FRANCISCO – Colorado volleyball graduate student Leah Clayton has been named the first Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the 2021 season, the conference announced Monday.

The graduate student from Danville, Va., led the Buffs with and outstanding 5.92 points per set in two matches at the Charlotte Invitational on her way to being named the Charlotte Invitational Most Valuable Player. She finished the weekend with 37 kills, averaging 5.28 kills per set while hitting .382 in CU's two wins against Xavier and Charlotte.

In the opening match of the season, Clayton put down 22 kills and a double-double against Xavier with 11 digs.
