Buffs Travel To California In Final Regular Season Road Trip

BOULDER - The post-season looms right around the corner for women's lacrosse, and Colorado faces a pivotal road trip as the squad travels to play Stanford and Cal this weekend.

No. 20 USC broke Colorado's (7-6, 5-2) three-game win streak in a highly competitive game last Friday night, but the Buffs recovered to defeat Arizona State to close out the weekend. With the Buffs' loss to USC though, the Trojans have clinched at least a share of the conference title. If they defeat ASU next weekend, they'll be the undisputed champions.

That means that competition for finishing second in the Pac-12 is fierce, and at 5-2 in conference, Colorado and Stanford are tied for the coveted spot.
