BOULDER – The University of Colorado track and field program is spreading out this weekend, competing in three separate meets at the Hayward Premiere in Eugene, GCU Antelope Invitational in Phoenix and Doug Max Invitation in Fort Collins with action beginning Friday.
Friday's meet at the newly renovated Hayward Field will be the stadium's debut after it underwent renovations for the past few years in preparation for hosting the World Champions, now set for 2022. The Buffs will compete there in distance and throws, while some middle distance and 10k athletes head down to Phoenix to Grand Canyon where CU Hall of Famer Sara Slattery is the head coach.
