Colorado (4-3) began strong against Denver (5-1) in doubles play, tying up the double results after two matches with a win from the No. 3 doubles team of and . The duo made quick work against Toni Nelson and Arisha Ladhini, winning the set 6-0.
The Buffaloes were unable to secure the doubles point after a loss in the No. 1 doubles match with Bianca Mok and Camille V-Anderson defeating and by a score of 6-1.
