SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The University of Colorado women's tennis team won both doubles matches in the San Diego State University Fall Classic II Friday in the first day of competition.
The morning started out well in San Diego as Monica Malinen and Megan Forster opened play with a 6-3 victory against a duo from Fresno State. Their teammates Brigitte Beck and Annabelle Andrinopoulos was next in victory with a close 7-5 win over a team from Utah.
Colorado found far less success in the opening round of singles play with only a single victory in five attempts.
