BOULDER - The University of Colorado track and field program kicked off it's 2018 indoor season here Friday with the Potts Invitational. Freshman Gunner Rigsby highlighted the day winning the long jump event title.
WHAT HAPPENED
Freshman took home the long jump title, the first of his career Friday evening. Rigsby landed his winning mark of 22-8.50/6.92 in his second try. His impressive PR of 24-0.25/7.32 came in December at the Mines Alumni Classic and Multi where he finished third. Teammate finished seventh in the long jump landing a 21-2/6.45.
