The Colordao Bufaloes women’s basketball team (5-14, 0-8) fell to No. 8 Oregon State Beavers (16-3, 7-1) in Boulder on Sunday, 61-47. It is the Buffs’ ninth straight loss, including all eight conference games that the team has played so far this season.
Junior forward Haley Smith led the Buffaloes in scoring with 16 points. She was the only Colorado player in double digits.
Oregon State had two players in double digits, including senior center Ruth Hamblin, who had 20 points and seven rebounds. Her seven boards helped the Beavers out-rebound the Buffs 47-32.
