BOULDER – Colorado head coach Danny Sanchez announced the addition of Colorado School of Mines to the Buffaloes' schedule this week, set to be played on Wednesday (4 p.m.).
The game fills the whole that was left by Colorado State in what was supposed to be last Thursday's season-opener.
"We are really appreciative of Colorado School of Mines agreeing to play on such short notice," Sanchez explained. "They are a top program, and it will be great preparation for both squads so early in the season."
Colorado Mines went 7-0-3 last season and lost in the semifinals of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament to CSU Pueblo in penalties.
