BOULDER – The price of admission was worth every penny for the Colorado soccer supports on Sunday. The Buffaloes withstood a last-second chance from the Longhorns and walked away with a 2-1 win.
Colorado (4-0-0) scored the first two goals of the game, both in the second half. Freshman Tessa Barton opened the scoring, picking up her first career goal. Senior Stephanie Zuniga added the second.
Texas (1-2-0) cut the lead in half in the 73rd minute and continued to press in the final third of the period.
