DENVER- Colorado lacrosse fell to Denver 10-7 Thursday night at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
After a Charlie Rudy goal to start the game, the Buffs allowed four unanswered goals to the Pioneers to trail 4-1. Colorado answered with two straight goals to make the game 4-3 and a back-and-forth by each team resulted in a 5-4 halftime score.
Ashley Stokes began the second half with a goal to even things 5-5. Later in the half, the Buffs trailed 7-6 and that was as close as they were going to get. Denver finished the game on a 3-1 run to beat Colorado 10-7.
