Buffs Bounce The Bears On The Road

BERKELEY – Colorado lacrosse took care of business against the Cal Golden Bears here at Memorial Stadium this afternoon, winning the game 19-9.

After a relatively close game in the first half, the Buffaloes (8-7, 6-3 Pac-12) were able to put Cal (5-11, 2-7 Pac-12) away with a dominant second half, outscoring the Bears 7-1 in the final two quarters.

Colorado's 19 goals were made up of 12 different goal scorers, including Charlie Rudy who scored four times while also dishing out three assists. Ashley Stokes, Sam McGee, Morgan Pence and Sydney Zimmerman each put the ball in the back of the net twice this afternoon while Mack Moore scored her first career goal.
