BOULDER- The Colorado Buffaloes Soccer team closed out their seasoning opening six-game homestand with a 3-0 win over Purdue at Prentup Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Buffs got on the board early in the 24th minute off of the right foot of fifth year senior Amaya Gonzalez to give her first goal of the season and a 1-0 lead.
Later in the first half Colorado extended their lead off of a corner kick from Gonzalez headed in by Faith Leyba for her second goal of the season.
The second half was winding to a close until freshman Hope Leyba scored her first goal of her career off of the assist from fellow freshman Ava Priest who on the same play had the first assist of her young career.
