SEATTLE - Colorado's bid for consecutive conference wins ended on Friday as the Buffaloes fell 5-2 at Washington. The loss dropped them 6-8 overall and 1-2 in the Pac-12, while UW improved to 10-7 and 1-3 in Pac-12 play. The Buffs were coming off a win over Arizona at home on Sunday.
"I think we came in with the right mindset," head coach Nicole Kenneally said of coming off a win on Sunday. "We had two pretty good practices under our belt [on the road] on Wednesday and Thursday. It shows just how tough the Pac-12 is when you play at home.
