The Rocky Mountain Showdown lives on into the next decade with the announcement for a home-and-home series between the Colorado and Colorado State, as first reported by Matt Stephens of the Denver Post.
The four-game contract between 2029-30 and 2033-34 will keep games on campus at Folsom Field in 2029 and 2033, followed by the canvas in Fort Collins in 2030 and 2034. When CU and CSU meet on Aug. 30, 2019, it will mark the end of playing a neutral site game at Denver’s Mile High Stadium— a site for 18 of the past 21 games.
