SAN DIEGO/FORT COLLINS — Colorado women's tennis team closed out the San Diego Intercollegiate Championships and CSU Jon Messick Invitational Sunday with a win in singles and doubles exhibition.
Elyse Ventura picked up both of the wins today, taking down Matilde Morais of North Texas in straight sets. Ventura battled out a tough first set 7-6(6), winning a tiebreaker after things were tied up at six all. She went on to take the second set and the match 6-3.
Both women then faced off again in doubles with Mila Stanojevic joining Ventura.
