Buffaloes DL Jase Franke out for season with ACL tear

According to Adam Munsterteiger, Colorado Buffaloes defensive lineman has been diagnosed with an ACL tear. He is out for the season.

Franke went down with the injury early in the Buffs’ game against USC. He had to be helped off the field and looked to be in considerable. Per Brian Howell, the medical staff had feared he suffered a torn ACL and that has confirmed with recent medical tests.

Franke had come into his own as a reserve lineman on the Buffs’ front three. He was credited with 10 tackles (3 for loss) and 2 sacks.
