Another year, another 4-star wing committing to the Colorado Buffaloes. This time, it’s Quincy Allen, the 48th-ranked recruit in the entire class of 2021, as first reported by Corey Evans of Rivals.com.
This is a major coup for Tad Boyle and the Buffs. Allen, a produce of Maret School in Washington, D.C., will be the highest rated recruit in the 10+ seasons Boyle has been in Boulder. Looking at the tape, it’s easy to see why he had had serious interest from Michigan, Georgetown and Miami.
At 6’7 with smooth athleticism, Allen is a gifted three-level scorer who gets to his spot and makes defender pay with an easy pull-up jumper.
