The upcoming season is a mere two months away, but that doesn’t stop Mel Tucker from adding reinforcements for the 2019 season. The tight end depth chart six months ago consisted of Jared Poplawski and Brady Russell. Now, they have Auburn grad transfer Jalen Harris, converted RB Beau Bisharat, Russell, Poplawski, and the latest addition, Luke Stillwell.
Stillwell is an interesting case. A converted QB, Stillwell enrolled in Kilgore Junior College and switched to tight end. Already blessed with a 6’4 frame, Luke quickly added as much weight as he could and learned the position.
