SEATTLE – Former Colorado soccer players Emily Bruder and Morgan Stanton have been selected to represent the United States at The World University Games next month. Also known as the 2017 Summer Universiade, The 29th Summer World University Games will be held in Taipei, Aug. 19-30, with over 120 countries competing in 22 sports. Bruder and Stanton are believed to be the first CU student-athletes to represent the United States in soccer at The World University Games.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for Morgan and Emily to represent our university and country on a world stage," CU head coach Danny Sanchez said.
