Chris Wilson has a name familiar to Colorado Buffaloes fans. The famed defensive line coach worked with Gary Barnett for the Buffs in the early 2000s, and moved to a successful career in Oklahoma, Missouri, and eventually the Philadelphia Eagles when they won the Super Bowl. He leveraged his extensive connections and recruiting know-how to grab a huge recruit out of Arkansas in Tyas Martin.
Martin is from Jacksonville, Arkansas, another first time destination for the CU football program. Chris Wilson has a connection with Martin’s coaches and trainers, and that’s part of the reason that the Buffs went so hard.
