SAN FRANCISCO – The University of Colorado soccer team picked up two conference honors on Tuesday. Juniors Tatum Barton and Kelsey Aaknes were awarded the Pac-12's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards, respectively. The two players played key roles in last weekend's road wins at Marquette and Michigan State.
For Barton, the weekly honor is her second of the season. This marks the first career honor for Aaknes.
Barton, a Littleton, Colo., native, continued her hot start to the season scoring two of CU's three goals against then-unbeaten Michigan State on Sunday.
