BOULDER — Oklahoma State graduate transfer Arlington Hambright was the first player mentioned by Mel Tucker when Colorado’s new coach was asked about the status of the Buffaloes’ offensive line at media day Saturday.

Hambright, 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, is competing with sophomores Frank Fillip (6-7, 290) and Will Sherman (6-4, 310), among others, for a starting spot at right or left tackle.

“Hopefully he helps us a lot,” Tucker told The Post of Hambright after concluding his press conference inside the Dal Ward Center. “You bring in grad transfers with the hope that they have a significant impact on the team.
