According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Alec Burks is re-signing with the New York Knicks for a three-year contract worth $30 million.
Burks had a breakout season in New York in 2020-21, averaging over 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in about 25 minutes per game. His productivity off the bench was a huge factor in the Knicks’ success, as they wore down teams with their defense and let Burks and Derrick Rose get buckets in the clutch.
It has been a long three years for the former Big XII Freshman of the Year.
