SALT LAKE CITY — The Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Skiing Association (RMISA) announced the 2018 skiing schedule, highlighted by Colorado hosting the RMISA/NCAA West Regional Championship in addition to the previously announced NCAA Championships in Steamboat Springs.
Although it hasn't been long since CU last hosted the NCAA Championships, also doing so at Steamboat in 2016, you have to go back to 2010 to find the last time CU hosted the RMISA/NCAA West Regional Championships. Coincidentally, that same year Colorado also played host to the NCAA Championships at the same venue it will this winter.
Back in that 2010 season, the Buffs won the RMISA/NCAA West Regional meet and finished as runner-up to Denver at the NCAA Championships.
