Colorado Football is in a brutal place, with Tucker leaving after National Signing Day and after just one season as head coach. The pickings are slim, but there’s one clear-cut top target: Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy, who played and coached at Colorado. But if the Buffs can’t land him, there are other coaches with ties to the school and/or area. Those include Chuck Pagano, Jim Leavitt, Troy Calhoun and Jim McElwain.

An interim coach also makes sense for the Buffaloes, given the timing. If that’s the route Colorado goes. OC Darrin Chiaverini (who played at Colorado) and DC Tyson Summers are the logical targets.
There are some former Nick Saban Assistants looking for a head coach job as well in Steve Sarkisian and Butch Jones. Speaking of assistants, could USC OC Graham Harrell be a target?
