Avalanche winger Sven Andrighetto will miss his second game of the season — first because of injury — Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets at the Pepsi Center. Andrighetto suffered a leg injury in Sunday’s 6-1 win over the New York Islanders and is day-to-day.
The Swiss forward will be replaced by rookie A.J. Greer, who was recalled from San Antonio of the American League as insurance on Monday. Greer, 21, was set to play his 12th NHL game, seventh this season, on a line with rookie center Alex Kerfoot and Nail Yakupov.
Without Andrighetto, the Avs have only 12 available forwards.
