The new NHL season is nearly here and the Colorado Avalanche opens its 2015-16 training camp this week at Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colorado.
The Avs begin things with a three-day rookie camp from Monday to Wednesday, while the full NHL training camp will be held on Friday and Saturday. Camp closes with the annual intra-squad Burgundy/White Game on Sunday.

THE NEW GUYS
The Avalanche brought in several new faces during the offseason via free agency, trades or at the draft, and training camp will be the first look at how those players will fare and mesh with the veteran Avs on the roster.
