EDMONTON, Alberta — Rookie Tyson Jost doesn’t want to be called a rookie. For the second time in two weeks Thursday, the white-hot Avalanche forward who has goals in his last two games and four in his previous eight said he prefers to be called a young difference-maker.

Jost, 19, made his latest “rookie” spiel in front of familiar media at Rogers Place following Colorado’s morning skate.
