The Colorado Avalanche are getting ready to embark on the Redemption Season. At least, we hope it’s a season of redeeming themselves for last year.
The Avalanche are an offense-first team. We saw what happened last year when the team’s high-octane offense had trouble getting started — the season sank. Therefore, a lot of what happens during the 2015-16 season is going to rest on the shoulders of Colorado’s offense.
Specifically, it’s going to rest on the shoulders of the Avalanche’s top six. They are the most high octane of the team’s offense. It’s up to them to not only get the scoring started but keep it going.
