Colorado Avalanche head coach Patrick Roy has taken some heat this season. Some fans and reporters are questioning Roy’s every decision.
Following are some of the unpopular decisions head coach Patrick Roy has made recently:
- benching Brandon Gormley in favor of Nate Guenin and Brad Stuart
- benching Mikhail Grigorenko in favor of Borna Rendulic
- anything related to Nate Guenin, Brad Stuart and even Cody McLeod
- pretty much any line combination decision
- saying the Avalanche were playing 500 hockey (Some people claim having half as many points as are available technically isn’t 500 hockey.
