After the Avalanche's morning skate Thursday, coach Patrick Roy repeated his stance that he won't again talk about his young centers, both out with knee injuries, until at least Sunday — the day after Colorado's pivotal meeting with the Minnesota Wild.
Previously, Roy said both would be out at least through that game and labeled them "week to week."
Defenseman Eric Gelinas also missed a second consecutive game Thursday with an injured elbow. On defense, Zach Redmond stepped into the lineup after three games as a healthy scratch and Andrew Bod- narchuk sat out.
