aThe Regina Pats have announced that Vegas Golden Knights prospect Jake Leschyshyn will captain their squad for the now-arrived 2018-19 season. Colorado Avalanche prospect Nick Henry and overager Liam Schioler will be the alternate captains for the team.
Henry will play a much bigger role for the Pats this season, who disappointingly bowed out of the WHL playoffs in the first round after a promising year, with the departure of top players like Sam Steel, Josh Mahura, and Matt Bradley.
Henry is a fourth-round pick of the Colorado Avalanche in 2017.
