Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon and skier Mikaela Shiffrin headline the list of athletes who will be honored at the 56th annual Colorado Sports Hall of Fame induction and awards banquet.
MacKinnon was named the 2019 male athlete of the year and Shiffrin earned the female athlete of the year honor.
CSU-Pueblo runner Thomas Staines and DU gymnast Lynnzee Brown will receive the collegiate honors. Former Ponderosa High wrestler Cohlton Schultz and former Valor Christian track and field star Anna Hall earned the high school awards. Greg Mark will be presented with the 2019 athlete with disabilities award.
