After losing their opener, the Colorado Avalanche bounced back nicely Friday night as they were able to blow out the St. Louis Blues for their first win of the season. This was the team that everyone was expecting to see before the season started. The Avs looked great at both ends of the ice and the team’s best players were the ones leading the way.
After a first period that had the game still close, the floodgates opened and the Avalanche throughout embarrassed the Blues, on the way to an 8-0 win.
