Over the span of three weeks, Nazem Kadri has gone from once-embattled Avalanche forward to Colorado civic hero.
At this point, would it be dismissed out of hand if a Denver city council member proposed renaming one of the city’s streets after Kadri? The Grading the Week staff would certainly get behind the idea, if only to convince him to stay in Colorado.

With Kadri set to hit unrestricted free agency, and the Avs likely to be capped out this offseason, it would behoove general manager Joe Sakic to explore every avenue to hold on to his veteran second-line center.
