DENVER — In what will be a Game 7 environment Saturday, the Avalanche intends to emerge from the Pepsi Center with the club's first postseason appearance in four years, and just fourth in the last 10. Hedging that bet are the St. Louis Blues, who are looking for their seventh straight playoff appearance and eighth in the last 10 years.
It's St. Louis at Colorado in Game 82, the regular-season finale for both teams with the winner advancing to the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face No. 1 seed Nashville in a best-of-seven series.
