On the first day of the Eagles Alumni weekend the Eagles fall 2-1 in a shootout against the Idaho Steelheads. The Eagles gain a point with the shootout, and brings their record to 4-2-1-1 on the season; placing them in second place in the Pacific division behind the first place Utah Grizzlies.
Luke Salazar would be the first to find the back of the net and take a 1-0 lead for the Eagles early on in the first period, which would be the sole goal in the first frame. The score remained the same through the second period, but quickly could have changed if Kent Simpson did not make a few amazing saves to keep the Eagles with the lead at the end of the second period.
